“What is desirable in a person is his kindness.”
Proverbs 19:22a (NASB)

Today much emphasis has been put on the outward appearance. How you look, how you dress, and how many achievements you’ve had. In a society where so many put their emphasis on “me first” and instant gratification, kindness so often takes the backseat and yet Proverbs 3:3-4 (NASB) tells you, “Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and a good reputation In the sight of God and man.” Stephen Scott says, “Kindness should be so much a part of our lives that that would be the first attribute a person notices about us.” And Mark Twain says this about kindness, “Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”

Prayer:
Dear God, help me to become more others-centered and less self-centered that that would be one of the primary attributes that others see in me, in Jesus name, amen.
