Ready to get involved?

There are people in need across the entire Pacific Northwest. Your time, talents, and donations will support strategic organizations that, together, can impact lasting change.

You can help in 3 ways

Bring your team

Teams work best united around a cause.

Now you have an easier way to adopt a cause and work together outside of the usual business environment. Your business is built to do good.

STEP 1:

Adopt a cause. There are many in our coalition of nonprofits to help at-risk youth and reduce urban poverty.

STEP 2:

Setup a schedule to volunteer. Our volunteer directors connect you with opportunities. All based on your availability. It’s best to plan monthly or quarterly events, about 3-5 hours each. Opportunities vary widely, such as:

  1. Prepare and serve a meal

  2. Box up school supplies or medical care packages

  3. Light maintenance and cleaning to keep the nonprofit’s environment welcoming and sharp

  4. Larger needs based on training and certifications (run day camps, youth mentorship, humanitarian support)

STEP 3:

Share your story. Tell others about your experience and how they can be involved. What did you accomplish together? Did you build new relationships? How has the experience changed your perspective?

Become a volunteer

Individual volunteers are critical in providing the services offered through Liberty Road Foundation and the nonprofits we support. Some people volunteer case by case; others schedule their time weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Stay up to date on late-breaking needs with our mailing list and on Facebook  and Twitter.

Are you interested in volunteer opportunities? Please contact one of our volunteer directors.

Give online

Your one-time gift will support the most important needs. These resources provide our teams with tools to succeed throughout the Puget Sound area.

Monthly giving to keep the lights on

All operational costs (administration, rent, salaries, etc.) are covered by the on-going generosity of our partners. This regular commitment ensures 100% of the donations at our annual events go directly to the associated cause and nonprofit.

Each month, you will receive a receipt for your ACH or credit card donation.

Automatic bank payment & check by mail

You can authorize Liberty Road Foundation to debit your account for a set amount each month. This is a convenient option if you prefer automatic transfers instead of remembering to write a check each month.

Should you prefer to mail a check, please make your check payable to Liberty Road Foundation and send the gift to:

Corporate gifts & matching funds

As a nonprofit organization, Liberty Road Foundation receives no federal, state, or city funding. Throughout its existence, businesses have been essential partners with Liberty Road Foundation. Often the financial support received from businesses comes in the form of “matched gifts,” where the business matches dollar-for-dollar the contributions of their employees.

Corporate gift matching is a wonderful way to increase your gift to Liberty Road Foundation. We are happy to work with your employer, providing the necessary information to facilitate the matching.

Current matching partners

  • Bank of America
  • Chase Bank
  • Microsoft
  • The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Memorial & special occasion gifts

It is a meaningful way to honor a family member or friend, to memorialize a loved one who has passed away, or to recognize a special occasion – all while helping so many in your community.

Your personalized message will be sent in your name to the person being honored, or to the family of the deceased. The card will not disclose the amount of your gift.

Or call to discuss special gift options: (206) 790-1290
