The Free Dictionary by Farley defines “crisis” as “a crucial or turning point in the course of something.” It further defines crisis as “an emotionally stressful event or traumatic change in a person’s life.” What do you do when that occurs?

First, you need to get a right focus. Psalm 121:1-2 (NASB) says, “I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

Secondly, you need to put your emotions into check. Don’t let your heart be troubled. Isaiah 43:2 (NASB1995) says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.”

And thirdly, you need to put your complete trust in God. Psalm 32:7 (NASB1995) says, “You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. “
