God has given you a destiny – the “why” you are here on Planet Earth. There are many things that come along in the course of your journey that will try to distract you and get you off course. Many times these distractions look very glamorous and enticing on the surface and yet many times they prove to be a detriment to your destiny. There are three things that I have personally found over the years that help in this journey. First of all, you need to keep your eyes on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfector of your faith. God is the one that has given you your destiny and He will equip you in your journey along the way. Secondly, in the process of your journey, make right choices. To do this, you are going to need to be filled daily with the Holy Spirit, which literally means be controlled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is your Friend and your Helper and He will give you wisdom and discernment in helping you to make right choices. And, thirdly, just keep moving. Don’t quit. Be persistent, be determined and most of all, don’t allow discouragement, anxiety and fear to keep you from your destiny. Be encouraged that you’re going to make it because if God is for you, then who can be against you?
