“Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23 (NASB)
When the prayers you’ve whispered night after night feel like they’re bouncing off the ceiling, and when your strength fades and hope feels like it’s slipping through your fingers, hear this: God has never — not once — given up on you.
Through every failure, every tear, every moment you’ve doubted or stumbled — His love has held steady. You may have let go of hope for a moment, but He has never let go of you. A.W. Tozer wrote, “God never hurries. There are no deadlines against which He must work.” That means what feels like delay is often divine preparation. God’s timing may stretch your patience, but it never misses its purpose.
And C.S. Lewis said, “Relying on God has to begin all over again every day, as if nothing had yet been done.” Every morning is another chance to whisper, “Lord, I still believe… I still trust You.”
Maybe you’ve prayed for something that seems lifeless — a dream, a relationship, a promise. But remember this: the same God who called Lazarus out of the tomb after four days can breathe life into what feels long dead in your world.
So don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. Don’t give up when you can’t see the way — because God is working behind the scenes in ways you can’t yet imagine. You may feel like you’re barely holding on to God — but the truth is, He’s holding on to you, with a love that refuses to let go.
So today… stand firm. Lift your eyes. Trust again. Never give up on God — because He has never, and will never, give up on you.
