“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
Ephesians 4:32 (NASB)

Friends, the world today can feel heavy—full of unrest, anger, division, and unkindness. Everywhere we look, it seems there’s more fear than hope, more blame than forgiveness. And yet, God calls us to be different. Ephesians 4:32 reminds us that we are to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving—mirroring the love and mercy God has shown us.

Recent authors like Bob Goff and Jon Tyson remind us that love is not just a feeling—it’s an action that chooses people over prejudice, mercy over judgment, and reconciliation over resentment. Goff challenges us to “do something foolishly loving every day”, and Tyson calls us to “walk in love, even when it’s costly or inconvenient”.

Here’s the challenge: in a world that rewards self-protection and harshness, will we respond with grace? Will we be a people who accept, forgive, and bring hope? Significance is found not in wealth or fame, but in the lives we touch with God’s love. Every act of patience, every word of encouragement, every moment of forgiveness—these are the vessels through which God pours His hope into a hurting world.

So today, let’s choose to be tenderhearted. Let’s choose love over hate, understanding over judgment, forgiveness over bitterness. Let’s be the kind of people whose lives point others to hope, whose actions carry significance, and whose hearts reflect the mercy of Christ.
