“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV)
This needs to be written where you can see it and be reminded of the three most important ingredients that will help you, whether it’s in your business relationship with your clients, employees, or at home in your family.
- Be kind to one another. It was Mother Teresa who said, “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are fully endless.” Words like “I appreciate you ” and “You are the best,” “Great job, thanks for all your hard work.” Choose to speak some kind words this week. They will make a huge difference.
- Be tenderhearted. This literally means to have a heart of compassion and concern for the needs of others.
- Forgive each other. It has been said, “We must extend forgiveness and not allow past actions to cloud our current attitudes.”
Declaration:
I will check my words and my attitude this week and choose to practice these three ingredients: kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness.
