“Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.”
Proverbs 10:4 (NASB)
What’s keeping your dream or idea on the shelf? How many creative ideas have you had during your life only to find yourself saying, “I should have done something with that idea. Wow, I just read not too long ago that the very idea I had 30 years ago is now on some of our newest cars. What’s with that? I should have done something.” There are many reasons why you keep putting things off. Perhaps you’ve tried things in the past that have failed. We’ve all had those setbacks, those failures. Life just happens. But instead of remembering the hurt and dwelling on what didn’t work out, the key to reaching your destiny is to remember your dream. Remember what God promised you, what He showed you. Remember the idea He whispered to you in the middle of the night.
I’m thinking of all the conversations around the years that I’ve had with friends. All the “if only’s” and “I should haves” but no one did anything with their dream. Well, it’s time! No more procrastination, no more excuses even if you failed in the past. You can do it. You know what you need to do. God gave you that creative idea, that thought, that dream. Don’t waste it one day longer. He’s with you. Believe that your dream, your creative idea, will have a life changing impact on others.
Someday has arrived. It’s not tomorrow, it’s today. God set you up for this dream. He breathed His life into you. He put in you everything you need to fulfill your destiny. People can’t stop you. Bad breaks, disappointments, loss can’t stop you. The most high God is on your side. You have royal blood flowing through your veins. Come on! Grab that dream off the shelf and go for it. You will make it.
