“Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become restless and disturbed within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.”
Psalm 42:5 (AMP)
We are constantly being challenged every day by circumstances and temptations around us that are forever trying to pull us out of spiritual alignment within our soul (mind, will, and emotions). In the midst of David’s despair and restlessness, he is telling his soul to get back into alignment with God, for God alone is his hope.
Have you gotten out of alignment? Have you allowed the circumstances and challenges of the day to consume you? Take action. Get back into alignment. Put your trust and hope in God and wait expectantly to see what He is about to do.
Be encouraged with this scripture, Ephesians 3:20-21 (NASB): “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen”.
