“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Psalm 103:1-5 (NKJV)

As we look back over this past year, we have so much to be grateful for. It has no doubt been a year filled with struggles and victories and yet at the very core of it all we can say with David, as it is so well put in the Message Bible in Psalm 103:1-2, “O my soul, bless God. From head to toe, I’ll bless His holy name! O my soul, bless God, don’t forget a single blessing!”

Here is a suggestion:
Take a few minutes to write down all the many blessings you have received over this past year. Express your gratefulness to God for what He has done in your life. Then think about those people who have personally had an influence in your life this past year with their time, their wisdom, and perhaps even a financial blessing. Make a special effort to call them and thank them for all that they have sown into your life and what it has meant to you.
