“…you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you…”
Isaiah 43:4a (ESV)

Wow, you are precious, honored and loved by God! What else do you need? What are you going to add to your résumé that will top that? What other ladder do you need to climb? Wow, I am loved by God! God loves me! Psalm 139:13-18 (NKJV) tells us that we are so precious to God that He perfectly created us. “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.”

Write these words down on a 3 x 5 card and every time you’re feeling discouraged or overwhelmed by all that you must do or you’re feeling anxious or fearful or alone, just remember that God loves you and you are precious and honored in His sight. Here’s a scriptural exercise for you. Take that 3 x 5 card out and just feast on those words that give life. “I AM LOVED BY GOD.”
