“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”
James 1:12 (ESV)
Passion is a key to leadership. YOUR Dictionary defines passion as “Extreme, compelling emotion; intense emotional drive or excitement.” It has been said, “Passion is the energy that comes from bringing more of you into what you do.“ And John Maxwell said, “Passion is more than a plan. Passion creates fire. It provides fuel. I have yet to meet a passionate person who lacked energy. As long as the passion is there, it doesn’t matter if they fail. It doesn’t matter how many times they fall down. It doesn’t matter if others are against them or if people say they cannot succeed. They keep going and make the most of whatever talent they possess.”
Your passion for your vision will ignite those around you. Passion is contagious. With passion, you set an atmosphere for success. The question is this: do you ever feel like giving up, but you know that you know that the Father has given you a vision a purpose? You may be thinking right now, “That used to be me. I once had that kind of passion and nothing could stop me, but I seem to have lost it. What do I do?” I believe you need to go back to your vision, write it down, and begin reading it every day. Then ask the Father to stir you up with that burning passion you once had in your heart and get ready because He will do it. He will set you once again on fire with a burning passion for that vision that He has put within your heart.
