As you enter into this new year of 2021 ask yourself this question: “Do I struggle with focusing on my purpose?” Maybe you find yourself getting caught up in what I call “the rabbit trail syndrome” – jumping from one thing to another because you think it looks more enticing without following through and finishing. Perhaps a great goal for 2021 can be that you will be more purposeful. It’s been said that being purposeful is having conscious intention. It’s having a clear focus on what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. It’s been said that you need to devote your whole self to the project at hand. Here are four steps to help you be more purposeful.

- Discipline to stay focused
- Diligence to keep going in spite of the circumstances.
- Faith to believe that God will help you to live the purpose He has given you
