“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, You are still with me!”
Psalm 139:13-18 (NLT)

When you read this and really meditate upon it, how can you not think how very special God has made you. For the very God of creation has woven into you skills and talents and these are to be used to help others. Matthew 5:15-16 (NLT) says, “No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” I believe that light consists of all the deposits that God has placed in you and you are to use those deposits to care for others. I challenge you to determine in your heart to be proactive for the remainder of this year as we go into the holidays, to pray for, to look for, and to watch where you can make deposits into others and then take action – just do it.
