“O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”
Psalm 34:8 NASB

Someone can tell you that dessert tastes great, but unless you try it for yourself, actually experiencing it, you may not be convinced. “O taste and see that the Lord is Good.” You have to taste Him yourself. You see, there is a difference between knowing about God and knowing God. “O taste!”

Have an encounter with God. Taste and see for yourself that God is good. You have tasted His goodness every time He’s answered your prayers, every time He has provided for you, every time He’s protected you, every time He has poured out His love to you, His grace, His acceptance, and His forgiveness. You tasted His goodness when you got up this morning and you declared that this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. You tasted His goodness when He opened a whole new area of revenue for your business; when He opened the door for you that no man can shut; when He was there in the middle of the night and your burden seemed unbearable and He brought peace, comfort, and direction. Taste and see for yourself how good He is.
