I Corinthians 3:12-13 NASB says, “If any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.” The test is: Do you really believe in Him? Do you only trust Him in the good times? It is really a matter of endurance. You just don’t quit. You keep believing. It doesn’t matter if you see immediate results or not. Put your trust in His word. Don’t give up, be strong. As the Father said to Joshua, “This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (NASB) Joshua 1:9.” What is it that you are going through right now?

Begin now to speak His word by faith over your situation. Faith is the power to trust God, having the confidence that God will do what He says. I like what Frank Damazio, Senior Pastor of City Bible Church in Portland, Oregon says in his book, Seven Declarations For Unshakable Life – “Faith is the unquestioning confidence, the full persuasion, the unwavering trust that what God has said, He is able to do and perform.”
