“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NASB

No matter how things look at the moment, you are going to get through all this. You are going to make it. It won’t be painless and maybe not even happen right away. But God is going to use your hurt, your pain, your loss, and your struggle for good. In this journey, there are two things you will need to remember.

First, be careful that you guard your emotions. Fear and anxiety can very quickly paralyze you. Be reminded of our Father’s Words in 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”And Isaiah 41:10 ESV says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Secondly, develop an attitude of thankfulness. This will help you from becoming bitter and resentful I Thessalonians 5:18 ESV says, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Here are a couple suggestions that will help you to develop an attitude of thankfulness:

God’s love and mercy never cease. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end. they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness “
Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB

God is with you in your affliction. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
Isaiah 43:2 ESV
