“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12 (NASB)
Just as David in the Bible was faced with the challenges of overtaking the giant, you are faced daily with challenges, some of which you don’t understand, others which seem overbearing. In the very next verse in Ephesians 6:13, you are admonished to put on the full armor of God. He does not tell you to put on someone else’s armor. It didn’t work for David and it won’t work for you. It’s not about building your life on someone else’s prayer life or faith. You must prepare yourself for battle with your own armor, the armor of God. God will always equip you for challenges. But you will need to be proactive in choosing to use what He equips you with.
