“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
“For as he thinketh in his soul, so is he.”
Proverbs 23:7 Darby
The soul constitutes the mind, will, and emotions. I believe there is a soul sickness that in turn affects our physical bodies. The question that we all must ask is, “What are we programming our soul with?” Even more specifically, “What are we programming our minds with?” We are surrounded with negativism and stuff just happens.
You have a choice. You can respond by choosing to be entrapped in the web of negative thinking, a slippery slide to fear and anxiety where it’s downhill all the way. Or you can choose to program your soul with the positive Word of God. The Message Bible reads, “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Philippians 4:8.”
Here is your challenge: Take action with your soul. Be intentional. It will transform your life.
