“And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.”
Luke 12:25-27 NASB
Some of you are carrying around a big bag full of worry. Life is full of unexpected events. You really don’t know what the day will bring. The first thing you want to do is to fight these battles in the flesh and all that will do is make you worry more. But what you really need is to be in a place of rest – a place in His presence. “I’m going to trust You, God, for this is outside of my control. I’m just going to sit in your presence, worship you, and trust you. I can’t fix this problem but I know you are the one who can.” As you worship instead of worry, praise, peace, and joy just pours in.
Declaration:
“I’m living a life of worship and not worry.”
