“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
Proverbs 23:7 KJV
What you set your mind on in the course of a day’s time will have a great impact on your thoughts. Philippines 4:8 in The Message says, “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.” As you fill your mind and think on these things that are the best, beautiful and praiseworthy, you begin to develop faith thoughts, which lead to faith words. Joel Osteen says, “You can change your world by changing your words…Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue.” One of the best ways to break free of things like fear, worry and anxiety is to look in the mirror every morning and declare God’s Word in faith over your life, personalizing it:
“I am strong. I am courageous. I am not afraid. God is with me wherever I go.”
Joshua 1:9 NKJV
“This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24 NKJV
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13 NKJV
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for me, who can be against me?”
Romans 8:31 NKJV
“Yet in all these things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me.”
Romans 8:37 NKJV
