“Pray, then, in this way: Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:9-10 NASB

When you pray these verses, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done,” it’s not about some rhetorical exercise. But it challenges the very core of your spiritual being. First of all, it involves a change of allegiance. If Christ is your King then He deserves your honor, loyalty and allegiance. You put yourself under His authority and power. Secondly, it involves a change in your values. The values of the Kingdom reflect what matters to the King. Jesus describes a lot of his values in the Beatitudes as seen in Matthew 5:3-10. And thirdly, it involves a change of priorities. The real test in life is how you spend your time and money. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” In other words, put a Christ-like perspective into your business and home life.
