“But it is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Mark 10:43-45 NASB

The very core of our purpose and why we exist is to serve and to give to others. John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” In other words, lay it all down, your skills, your talents, everything that God has gifted you with. It’s really about bringing value into someone else’s life. Value is like a fine thread that weaves in and out through the course of a day’s time in all that you do. In other words, are you committed to bringing value to your families and to your workplace with fellow employees? It has been said, “A good leader motivates others to act but a great leader not only motivates but brings value to those they lead.” And furthermore, when you focus on bringing value to others, you will find that it will bring financial blessings for your business because it will be authentic and you will be respected. Proverbs 11:25 NASB says, “The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.”
