Extraordinary Kingdom minded people stay in the race. They don’t give up. As a business leader, you will need courage to stay the course no matter what the circumstances are. Remember that God has not put within you a spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind. It was Winston Churchill who said, “Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” And it’s also been said, “Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.” Be reminded daily that God is with you whatever you face, wherever you go. Be encouraged. To stay in the race will also take determination. It has often been said that the one quality that makes a difference in the success or failure of a task is determination. The online dictionary has defined determination as “a firmness of purpose; resolve, fixed intention or resolution.” In other words, approach a task with determination. Colin Powell said, “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” Determination keeps you persevering through all the roadblocks and ups and downs you face.
