“’For I know the plans that I [a] have for you,’ declares the Lord,

‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’”  (NASB)

 Jeremiah 29:11

When we look at the vastness of God’s creation and all its beauty, how can we not be reminded of His personal care for us?  I just recently visited my youngest son, his wife and two of our awesome grandchildren, baby Adalyn born less than three months ago.  As the Bible says, she is wonderfully made, every little finger, every little toe perfectly formed.  How can we doubt for a moment that if God can perfectly form a child, He is also capable of taking care of us?  He knows your personal needs.  He knows the ups and downs of your life.

“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,

and He brought them out of their distresses.  He caused the storm to be still,

So that the waves of the sea were hushed.”  (NASB)

Psalm 107:28-29

Without a doubt, the struggles of life can weigh your spirit down.  You are not alone in your problems, nor are you ever without help.  It’s one thing to trust God to get you to the Red Sea.  It’s quite another to believe He will part the waters and bring you safely across.

DECLARATION:

I will make a choice daily to lay my burdens before

the Lord, resting in His presence.
