There are times in life when things just don’t seem right and you may even be asking, “Why, God? Why is this happening to me? I don’t understand and it hurts so much.” And yet in all of your circumstances and pain you are told to give thanks, to bless the Lord at all times. I have personally discovered that by my giving thanks and praise during the pain, it gets me back into right perspective. It switches my own way of thinking off the trial and onto God who says, “I am your refuge and strength. Your very present help in the time of need.” And in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” (NASB)
DECLARATION: I will choose to bless, to thank, to praise the Lord at all times and circumstances.
