“The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” (NASB)
Perhaps you got up this morning and left your house with a plan but you needed the Lord to direct your steps. But sometimes we struggle with that, don’t we? When you say, “Direct my steps,” you are saying, “Lord, I want my plans to fit into your plans. Lord, I have been trying to be more patient at work, but it isn’t working. I need your help. Lord, I have this big business deal and I need your wisdom – today, not tomorrow. I need your help today.
Today I want to be in step with you.”
