It has been said, “When God blesses you financially, don’t raise your standard of living. Raise your standard of giving.” God makes it clear that He blesses you not so you can live with greed, but rather so you can bless others. God loves a cheerful giver and I believe that when He sees someone living his or her life with that giving mentality, He just wants to bless them more. I saw these words the other day and I believe it’s really clear as to why we are here on planet earth. It read, “God didn’t add another day to your life because you needed it. He did it because someone out there needs you!” Here are just a few scriptures I believe will encourage you in your giving to others.
