YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO MAKE — WHAT WILL IT BE?

Whatever challenges or struggles you may be facing, whatever the pressures might be, you are to consider it a gift or as one translation reads “an opportunity for joy.” It is precisely at the moment of the challenge that you have a choice to make. You can either choose to view your challenge as a calamity or an opportunity to produce greater character in your life.
Heavenly Father, help me to respond and not react. Help me to take on your perspective and keep my flesh out of the way. Help me to see this challenge that I am going through right now as an opportunity for you to show yourself strong in my life and to develop a more Godly character.
