“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”  (NASB)

Philippians 4:8

Choices, choices, choices.  In the course of a day’s time, you will have many choices as to what you say, what you dwell on, the decisions you make and where you focus your eyes.  Here you are told specifically what you should dwell upon.  The mind is so much like a computer.  What you put in is what you get out – good in, good out.  I like how the Message Bible reads, “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious-the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.”

DECLARATION:  I will make a conscious effort this week to fill my mind with those things that are good, pure, positive and beautiful.
