“But these things I plan won’t happen right away.  Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!” (TLB)

 Habakkuk 2:3

His time is not always our time.  There may be a time in that business you are starting, that book you are writing or that exercise program that you just started, that you just get bogged down.  It doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere.  It’s like you have crashed into a wall.  Or perhaps you thought it was going one way and it’s another way.  Those are the times you need to put your trust in God the most, being aware that it’s all about His timing.  Philippians 2:13 (NASB) says, “For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”  You can trust the Lord, knowing that He is your enabler.  To enable someone is to give means, authority or power to do what you have directed them to accomplish.  He not only supplies you with all that you need according to His sufficient grace, but He affects the changes in, through and with us for His greatest pleasure.

DECLARATION:

Lord, help me to not become anxious and impatient and try to jump ahead of You and make something happen but instead help me to rest in my trust of You more and more that You have it under control and You are working it out.
