Jesus came to planet earth to serve and give. Ken Blanchard, in his book, “The Generosity Factor,”asks 3 questions: 1. Does every child in America and around the world go to bed with a full stomach and a loving hug from someone who cares? 2. Is all the research being done to cure devastating diseases? 3. Do the homeless have a warm place to rest their heads at night? He further says, “Pat answers have never solved the problem. What it does take is dedicated people, devoted time, and donated dollars to solve problems.”We need to listen to the Father’s heart and then act upon it.

Deuteronomy 15:11 NKJV, “For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’”

Proverbs 21:13 NKJV, “Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor
will also cry himself and not be heard.”

Psalm 22:24 NKJV, “For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from Him; but when He cried to Him, He heard.”

Proverbs 22:9 NKJV, “He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor.”

Proverbs 19:17 NKJV, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given.”

Proverbs 28:27 NKJV, “He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.”
