“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world.  [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

John 16:33 (Amplified Bible)

In life we are faced with all kinds of challenges and struggles.  You may be faced with a financial problem, a health issue or a relationship struggle and at times it may seem overwhelming to you.  You have choices you can make.  You can choose to wallow in self-pity and walk with a defeatist attitude that ultimately leads to depression.  You can try to figure it out on your own and I am confident that you know where that ends up, or you can choose to relinquish it to Him.  “God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need Him. We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake, Before the rush and roar of oceans, the tremors that shift mountains. Jacob-wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.” Psalm 46:1-3 Message Bible.  When you turn from your problems to His presence, your load is immediately lighter.
