On Friday October 5th, a team of business leaders from Liberty Road Foundation’s Bellevue and Redmond Leadership Groups prepared and served breakfast to approximately 20 children and volunteers at Jubilee REACH in Bellevue. This was the first time serving at Jubilee REACH for some of them, and it was exciting to see the buzz it created in their servant hearts as they cooked up the chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, egg casserole, apples with caramel, and poured juice for the kids as they gobbled it all up.  Several of the others who have volunteered with Jubilee REACH before along with other LRF non-profits, were able to describe the difference it makes to the staff that run the center, and how much of a help it is when groups like this are willing to bring in food, cook, serve, and clean up.

“It saves us all the time, money, and resources so we can focus on all the other needs of the center. Running a non-profit is hard, but you make it just a little bit easier.  We appreciate you all so much!” ~Barbara Bloomstrand, Hospitality Manager at Jubilee REACH

Volunteers were Andrea Michaels and Bryant Pae with Edward Jones, Steve Esau with Passport Unlimited, Jim Humphries with Vision Share, Tim MacDonald with One Accord (and his 2 sons), and Deanna Powell with Fidelity National Title.  We are so thrilled to have all of them on our Liberty Road Foundation volunteer team!
