Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29 NLT.” Bring all your hurts, your sorrows, your disappointments, your failures, your broken dreams to the Lord. You don’t have to carry those things around like luggage any longer. Lay it at the feet of Jesus. Let Him carry you and bring you through whatever is going on in your life. Come to Him for every little thing. Bring everything to Him in prayer. Let the Lord heal you and bring you peace. John 14:27 NASB says, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”
