“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 1:6 (NASB)

“The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”
Psalm 138:8 (NASB)

There are moments when the journey feels slow—when progress seems hidden and answers delayed. We begin to wonder if anything is really happening at all. But Scripture invites us to look again. Look at God. Look at what He has already done. What He began in you was not accidental, and it was not temporary. It was a good work—and God does not abandon good work halfway through. What may feel unfinished to you is still very much under construction in His hands.

Like David, there were seasons when you cried out, when you felt stuck in the mire. Yet the Lord heard you. He lifted you. He put a new song in your heart—a song of praise that others could hear and find hope in. What once felt like a mess, God has been turning into a message.

So look again.
He is your Savior.
He is your Forgiver.
He is your Healer.
He is your Protector.
He is your Provider.
He is your Director.

Even when it seems to be taking a long time, God is still establishing your steps. He is accomplishing what concerns you. His lovingkindness has not expired, and His hands have not let go. There’s an old hymn that says, “Count your blessings. Name them one by one.” When you do, you’ll discover something powerful:

You are not waiting on God—God has been working all along. Look again. See what God has done.
