“…for He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you.’”
Hebrews 13:5 (NASB)

There are times in life when loneliness or fear can feel overwhelming — moments when the weight of responsibility or the silence of the night makes us wonder if anyone truly understands. But here’s the good news: you are never alone. Jesus Himself promised, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you.” That’s not just a nice thought — that’s an unbreakable promise from the King of kings.

Charles Spurgeon once said, “When you go through a trial, the sovereignty of God is the pillow upon which you lay your head.” What a powerful reminder — we can rest securely in His presence even in the storm.

A.W. Tozer echoed this when he wrote, “The presence of God is the central fact of Christianity. Always remember, you are never alone.” That means He’s not distant; He’s right there—walking beside you, whispering peace into your anxious heart, holding you when you feel weak.

In those moments when people disappoint us, when circumstances shift, or when uncertainty sets in, Christ’s presence becomes more real, more powerful, and more sustaining than ever before. So, when the enemy tries to tell you that you’ve been forgotten or abandoned, silence that lie with God’s truth. Declare: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” (Hebrews 13:6). Lean into His presence, because He is closer than your very breath.

Friend, you are loved, seen, and surrounded by the presence of the One who will never leave you or forsake you. Take courage today — no matter where you are or what you’re facing — you are not walking this road alone.
