“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:18 (NASB)

Do you ever feel like you’re not enough? Like you don’t measure up? The world often tells us that our worth is based on our success, appearance, or the approval of others. But God sees us differently. He calls us His workmanship—His masterpiece.

A masterpiece is not rushed or random. It is carefully crafted by an artist with intention and purpose. That’s how God created you. He designed you uniquely, giving you gifts, talents, and a calling that no one else can fulfill. Joel Osteen once said, “God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. You need to see yourself as God sees you.” Too often, we focus on our flaws and failures, but God sees us through the lens of His grace. He sees our potential, our purpose, and the good works He has prepared for us.

C.S. Lewis put it this way: “There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal.” Every person, including you, is of infinite value in God’s eyes. Psalm 139:14 (NASB) says, “I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.” God doesn’t make mistakes. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, equipped for the life He has called you to live. Instead of doubting your worth, start declaring God’s truth over your life.

Action Step:
Today, take a moment to thank God for how He created you. Write down three unique gifts or qualities He has given you and ask Him how you can use them for His glory. You are not an accident—you are a masterpiece in the hands of the Master Artist.
