“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NLT)
How many expectations have you had that have gone unmet? Have you been disappointed so many times that you’ve come to the point where you feel like it’s worthless to dream and hope again? But as hard as it may seem, you’re instructed to not bring up the past. God is telling you there is something new and He’s working it out right now. Don’t you see it? Where it seems like there’s no way, He is making a way. There are times that you don’t see the new He’s trying to do in your life because you have a blurred perspective. You may be focused on the past, but it’s dead.
He’s telling you that you are to have a faith perspective. He’s already begun 24-7 on your behalf, for He knows the plans He has for you, plans for your welfare, future, and hope. He loves you. He cares for you, and He assures you that you are more than a conqueror and with Him you can do all things.
