“He changes a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry land into springs of water; and there He makes the hungry to dwell, so that they may establish an inhabited city, and sow fields and plant vineyards, and gather a fruitful harvest. Also He blesses them and they multiply greatly, and He does not let their cattle decrease.”
Psalms 107:35-38 (NASB1995)
What’s happening in your life right now? You may be going through some hard stuff, or you just recently weathered a storm. What are you to do? First, realize that God is still on the throne. There’s nothing He can’t do and no situation He can’t help you with. No matter what is happening He is there for you, and He is still in control. Trust Him and His goodness.
Secondly, ask Him for His help. “Lord, help me not to give in to this spirit of fear.” His word tells you in Psalm 57:2 that even in the hard times you will have more than enough.
And thirdly, never give up. Be strong, be courageous. Keep on keeping on. You are going to make it. Psalm 46:1 (NASB) says, “He is your refuge and strength, your very present help in time of trouble.” And Psalm 121:1-3 (NASB) says, “I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.” And finally, Isaiah 41:10 (NASB) tells you, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Let me encourage you to make this your declaration: “I will make the choice each day to trust You.”
