“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 (NASB1995)

Twenty-five years ago, I was a broken man. My life was like a country western song. My wife of 27 years had just walked out for another man, my car had burned, my dog died, and I was broke. Everything just went from bad to worse. But no matter how bad things looked, I’m here to tell you that I held on to the promises of God. When I was lonely and feeling worthless, struggling with trying to make sense out of my situation, I held on to Romans 8:28 (NASB) which says, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” What the enemy was meaning for my destruction, God was turning around for my good.

Be encouraged with whatever struggles you might be going through at this moment. Hold on. Don’t quit because God never quits on you and never will. He is Faithful. You are about to have a breakthrough. God is working on your behalf. He never rests. Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
