“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 (NASB1995)

We are living in challenging times. The very core of our belief system is being challenged today as never before with uncertainty and the constant bombardment of negativity. Things we have held close to our hearts are slowly rolling away before our eyes. What used to be wrong is now seen as right, and what used to be right is now seen as wrong. Many believers have settled into mediocrity calling it normal or ordinary, but I believe that God wants to challenge us to change our thinking from “I will settle” to “I want to live an extraordinary life in the supernatural with a Kingdom mindset.”

Yes, these are challenging times, but at the same time, exciting times. We can see an opportunity to walk courageously in faith without fear, with our heads held high, and our eyes looking up in complete confidence that God is for us so who can be against us. We are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. The Bible says the moment we received Christ into our life as our Lord and Savior, we were transferred from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of His beloved Son. We are in this world, but not of it. It’s allowing a kingdom mentality to lead us in the way we view things, make decisions, perceive challenges, and treat others. Therefore, the question that besets all of us is: “How shall I live my life with this extraordinary kingdom perspective?” Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing with you a few thoughts on helping to develop that Kingdom mindset.
