“Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things? “Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.”
Luke 12:25-27 (NLT)

Some of you are carrying around a big bag full of worry. Life is full of unexpected events. You really don’t know what the day will bring. The first thing we usually do is to get all worked up in the flesh and that just makes us worry more. But what we really need to be doing is to get into a place of rest, a place in God’s presence. “I’m going to trust you, God, for this is out of my control. I’m just going to sit in your presence, worship you, and trust you. I can’t fix this problem, but I know you are the one that can.” I love what Luke 12:31-32 in the Message Bible tells us: “Steep yourself in God reality, God initiative, God provisions. You’ll find all
your everyday human concerns will be met.”
And as you worship, instead of worrying, you will find that peace, love, and joy will fill your life.
