“Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart, In the company of the upright and in the assembly. Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them. Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonders to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and compassionate.”
Psalm 111:1-4 NASB

When was the last time you took a few moments to dwell on the vastness of God’s greatness? When I was running on the beach in Kauai a few years back, I was reminded of His greatness. As I glanced to my left, I could see the towering peak of Mount Wai’ale’ale, the 2nd wettest spot on earth, and to the right of me was the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. As the sand squeezed between my toes, I thought of our Father’s blessing to Abraham in Genesis 22:17a NASB, “Indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore.” When I reflect upon His creation of the sand on the seashore, how could I ever doubt that He is capable of taking care of me. He knows our personal needs. He knows the struggles that you and I have, and He will take care of us. God knows every detail about your life. Your likes, your dislikes, personal characteristics. He’s an expert on you. God is El-Shaddai, the God of more than enough. He is in your life working all things to your good. He is always there to turn your messes around to intervene on your behalf. Praise you, Father, for great and majestic are Your works.
