“Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!”
2 Corinthians 6:11-13 The Message

This is all about your perspective toward yourself. I believe Paul is saying here, “I want you to get out of your rut of small thinking and start thinking big, large, and expansively. The smallness you feel is coming from within you.” Come on, this is not from God! This is not even from others that have been fencing you in. You have been fencing yourself in and thinking small. This all has to start with you realizing who are. The Bible tells you, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Listen, God does not make any mistakes! You’re special. Because you have Christ in your life there isn’t anything you can’t do. The Bible says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and if He be for me, who can be against me?” and “Greater is He that is in me then he who is in the world.”
