“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other,

just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Ephesians 4:32 NASB

Maybe you’ve been going through some stuff and circumstances haven’t gone your way. Perhaps people have let you down and hurt you. You know that the right thing to do is to turn it over to the Holy Spirit and forgive but you’re hanging onto those feelings, and yet you know the obedient thing to do is to forgive. You make your choice to forgive by faith. You don’t feel it but you choose to step out in faith and be obedient. Be reminded of what 2 Corinthians 10:6 NASB says, “And we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.” Kick that disobedience right out of your life. You punish disobedience by choosing to be obedient, to do the right thing.
