“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 NIV
So you want to be a leader? Challenges are going to come. Problems will arise and there are times when you will be tempted to quit. John Maxwell says, “If you want to be a leader, the good news is that you can do it. Everyone has the potential, but it isn’t accomplished overnight. It requires perseverance.” Merriam-Webster defines perseverance as a “continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.” Giving up is not an option. It’s going to take persistence and tenacity to do something and keep doing it until you see success. John Maxwell further says, “Leaders stretch with challenges. Followers struggle with challenges. Losers shrink from challenges.”
