“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.”
Proverbs 6:6-8 ESV
The success of whatever you’re doing and whatever goals and dreams you might have is dependent on how well you prepare. Ecclesiastes 5:3 NASB says “For the dream comes through much effort.” Coach Vince Lombardi put it well when he said, “The will to win is not nearly so important as the will to prepare to win.” Great performers have that rare will to prepare. It was John Maxwell who said, “We cannot become what we need by remaining what we are.” In other words practice, practice, practice, line upon line, detail upon detail.
