Curt Altig

Curt Altig serves as the Treasurer of Liberty Road Foundation’s Board of Directors.  He is Founder and Chairman of Builders Capital, a local specialty finance company that serves the financing needs of residential homebuilders in the Puget Sound Region.  Prior to co-founding the company, Mr. Altig spent five years as a Regional President for First Horizon Home Loans (purchased by MetLife) overseeing $2+ billion in loan production across 18 branch offices.  His responsibilities at First Horizon included retail and wholesale originations, custom construction financing, mortgage operations, financial services, underwriting management and compliance oversight.  He is a former board member of the Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association.  Mr. Altig is a graduate of the University of Washington.  He has a family of 4 which includes his wife Laurie of nearly 27 years and 2 children, Courtney and Cole.
