Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that

are ruining the vineyards, ?

while our vineyards are in blossom.” (NASB)

Song of Solomon 2:15

These little foxes come in all different ways trying to discourage you and even rob you of your dreams, your ideas.  Some of those foxes could be critical people telling you your ideas will never work.  Or it may be that you have become isolated and have shut yourself off from good counsel and accountability.  Another fox might be procrastination.  Olin Miller said, “If you want to make an easy job seem mighty hard, just keep putting it off.”  And it has also been said, “Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.”   Here is a tip to help you to guard against these foxes.  Proverbs 27:23 says, “Know the state of your flocks and put your heart into caring for your herds.”  In other words, establish an ongoing evaluation process in your business and then work hard at being consistent with that process.
